I’m a student looking at opportunities
If you want to know more about a particular opportunity, it’s best to contact the firm you’re interested in directly, or to contact them through their partner charity. I’m a student and I’ve successfully obtained a placement
If you need to get in touch with the law firm you’re going to, the best thing to do is contact them directly. You should already have details for them, whether that’s an email address or phone number, or you might have the details of a charity partner, if you applied through an organisation like the Sutton Trust, for instance. If you don’t have any details at all, you can look them up through our experience finder tool.
I’m a teacher
If you want to know more about a particular opportunity or you want to set up a relationship with your school, it’s best to contact the firm you’re interested in directly. You can find out contact details on their profile, through the experience finder tool.
I’m a parent/guardian looking for a placement
If you want to know more about a particular opportunity, the best thing to do is get in touch with the firm directly – although it’s worth considering whether you should ask your young person to do this, to build their skills. I’m a parent/guardian to a child on or going on placement
By this stage, you should have contact details for the law firm your child will be attending, and if they’re on a residential work experience, you also should have emergency contact details if you need to get in touch.
In the first instance, the best thing to do is contact the firm if you need to, either by email or by phone.
