Programme details

The programme will run from October 2024 to August 2025 with monthly workshops, mentor meetings and finish with a week of hands-on work experience in one of our offices from Monday 4 - Friday 8 August 2025. This opportunity is based at either the Aberdeen, Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, London or Manchester offices.

As a Legal Explorer, you will receive:

  • A laptop and data to access online sessions and support your studies
  • Online workshops giving an insight into Addleshaw Goddard and working on key skills for a future career in law
  • A mentor to provide advice and support throughout your time with us
  • A week of in-person paid work experience in the summer
  • All travel expenses covered for in-person activities
  • Opportunities to network with Addleshaw Goddard colleagues and learn more about the different roles available to you
Who can apply?
As well as meeting PRIME's eligibility criteria, you must either be in year 12 England or S5 in Scotland in the 2024/2025 academic year and be within travelling distance of an Addleshaw Goddard offices in either Aberdeen, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London or Manchester. For Ireland only, identifying as being part of the Irish traveller community would make you eligible if you also meet the school year, type and location criteria.

The application deadline is 30th September. We are also running a virtual information session for interested students (and their parents/guardians) on 12th September, 17:00-18:00. Students can register to attend here.

How many spaces are there? 
There are five spaces at each of our offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Manchester. There are 3 spaces at both our Aberdeen and Dublin offices.

Programme details

A virtual programme to gain insight into the legal sector and different careers available at Addleshaw Goddard. This programme is aimed at those students who are not within commuting distance of one of our offices.

  • Learn more about the different routes into the legal profession and the experiences of working for an international law firm.
  • Skills-based workshops on enhancing your CV, preparing for interviews and developing your communication skills.
  • The opportunity to ask questions to and network with Trainees Solicitors, Apprentices, and Partners at Addleshaw Goddard.
  • The programme will be happening via Microsoft Teams 17 to 21 February 2025, 10:00-12:30 each day.
Who can apply?
As well as meeting PRIME's eligibility criteria, you must either be in sixth form in England or S5/S6in Scotland in the 2024/2025 academic year.
