Programme details

You’ll be based in Lomondgate, Dumbarton, work with the legal team but also see the other parts of the business that make up Aggreko such as our manufacturing facility, service and repair centre and other support teams.

We will help you to grow the skills you’ll need to succeed in a career in law with practical activities, seminars and a visit to a law firm. We will also give you some insight into what it’s like to study law at university, apply for work and find a job in law that’s right for you.

When does it happen?
Our 2025 programme is taking place during the week of 16 June.

Who can apply?
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

Aged 16+;
Be in S4 to S6 in school or college;
Attend (or attended a school) that is a state funded, non-paying school/college; and
Be the first in the family to attend university.

You must also meet one of the following addition criteria:
Have been, or are currently, in local authority care.
In receipt of, or have previously received, free school meals, Pupil Premium, Education Maintenance Allowance and/or 16 to 19 Bursary.
Are, or have been, a full-time or part-time carer.
Came to the UK as a refugee or asylum seeker.
The occupation of your main household earner is categorised as a routine or manual occupation. A summary of this can be found here.
Attending a state school or college with:

  1. a) below average A-Level or Higher point score and/or
  2. b) low rate of progression to higher education.

This year we are welcoming 10 students onto our programme.
