Programme details
A two-week work experience programme in the summer holidays for students finishing year 12 followed by mentoring support throughout year 13.
Week 1: Students spend a week at our London office, gaining an insight into life at the firm and taking part in various talks and activities.
Week 2: Students participate in a week long work insight and skills week, spending a day at five different organisations as part of the Social Mobility Business Partnership (SMBP). You can find out more about the SMBP week on the SMBP website.
Mentoring: Students are also offered an A&P mentor as part of a structured mentoring programme through A&P’s partnership with Mentoring Works.
The programme runs once a year during the summer holidays. The next programme will take place from Monday 21 July to Friday 1 August 2025. Students need to be available for both weeks to take part..
Who can apply?
As well as using the Prime criteria, the students who participate must also:
• Be in Year 12
• Want to pursue a career in law
We prioritise students who have achieved an average General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) Grade of 5.5 or above.
How many spaces do you have?
Approximately six placements are offered a year.

Applications are now open and close on 2 February 2025.
Telephone interviews will take place in April 2025 and offers will be confirmed in May 2025.
