Brodies is the Scottish headquartered law firm offering clients the largest specialist legal resource in Scotland, delivering services of the highest quality to many of the country¹s best known corporate and financial institutes, as well as to government, public authorities and private business clients. Brodies is a founder member of PRIME and has been delivering the programme now for over five years.

What work experience do we offer?
PRIME offers a five day programme that is designed to provide insight into a career in law, we aim to inspire you and show you that a career in the legal profession is achievable. Workshops are both interactive and informative and combined with external visit throughout the week to court, university and client visits. We aim to answer all your questions and address your concerns by providing the best quality work experience that supports your ambitions. Not only do we focus on the legal roles within the firm but provide insight to the importance of support functions within the firm, with workshops being held by HR, Finance, IT and Marketing

Glasgow: Monday 16 June – Friday 20 June 2025
Edinburgh: Monday 23 June - Friday 27 June 2025
Aberdeen: Monday 30 June - Friday 2 July 2025
Inverness: Thursday 3 July – Friday 4 July 2025

What work experience do we offer?
Career Insight Days are an opportunity to come and learn more the legal profession, offering you help and guidance on your journey from high school to practicing as a qualified lawyer. All the sessions and workshops are led by our trainees and newly-qualified (NQ) lawyers, who can talk to you about their experiences of studying law and answer any questions that you might have. Workshops run throughout the day are designed to give you a better understanding of what it is like to work within the legal sector.

How many spaces are there?
Career Insight Days offers 120 places each year, half the places available are for students matching the PRIME criteria and the other half to direct candidates.

PRIME offers 30 places per year, 10 in each location
