Programme details
A week of hands-on legal work experience at the firm’s offices in Birmingham and a pilot of 4 days work experience at the firm's offices in London
o Buddied up with a trainee who they shadow for the week
o The week is interspersed with talks from people across the business on topics such as routes into law, interview techniques, office etiquette, alternative careers in a law firm
o We also set the students group and individual exercises to work on throughout the week on which they present to a panel on the last day.
Who can apply?
Anyone who meets the requirements of PRIME – state school student either eligible for free school meals or would be first in the family to go to university.
We would also prefer the students to be in Year 12 and from a school not too far from Birmingham / London to make commuting easy for the students.
How many spaces are there?
In previous years we have taken 10-15 students.
