Programme details

What work experience do we offer?
We will be offering a five day programme that is designed to provide insight into a career in law.

Through a variety of workshops, case studies, tasks, challenges and mock trials, you will get to experience what life at our firm is like, and develop the skills needed to pursue a career in law.

You will also get to meet colleagues from across our law firm.
Day 1: Welcome to the World of Law – we will introduce you to the Scottish legal system and the work of a law firm.
Day 2: Civil and Criminal Law in Action - explore how different areas of law operate and their real-world applications.
Day 3: Skills for Law and Legal Research Objective – you will learn key skills used in law, such as research, negotiation, and advocacy.
Day 4: Explore Key Legal Areas – we will introduce you to different areas of legal practice with practical exercises.
Day 5: Bringing It All Together – an opportunity to reflect on your learning and consolidate your knowledge with a mock trial or moot court.

PRIME weeks are held during June.

Anyone who meets the requirements of PRIME

We will have 20 places each year, spread across our four offices.

Apprenticeships
We offer apprenticeships on an ad hoc basis, typically within our Business Administration and IT teams.
